Late Summer Sunshine

It is amazing to think that the children were in swimming on Sunday and I was lazing by the pool catching the last of the summer's warmth.  Today there is snow on the mountain and we have had wind and rain showers on and off all day.  But yet I am still basking in the thoughts of the lovely weekend we enjoyed visiting friends, wandering their gardens and tasting the summer's harvest.  Friendships, cups of tea and catching up.  So special.

Order out of Chaos!

I spent the day on Friday putting all the books in order and all the toys away!  Also rearranged all the  puzzles and games.  Time well spent. I love the feeling of accomplishment when a plan comes together.  Now, how long will it stay that way...

All is quiet...

Saturday morning and the boys are watching Wind in the Willows on DVD, others still sleeping.  I love these stolen times when you somehow feel like you have time to think, or just be quiet.  Saturday mornings are also special because as yet no-one in our house has to be anywhere, any time soon.  It is lovely to hear the world gently waking up and be thankful for it.

New House, New City, New Life... New Blog!

Well I have finally started...
Something I have wanted to do for about a year or more.  So here it is.  Big changes for us and more space in my life.  I have begun.

Who knows how long it will continue for, but I am enjoying the process for now.  Happy reading.
