Having space in one's head is also nice. We have just finished a long, cold and wet winter term. At times it seemed like it would never end. Add to that some very sick and miserable children and it was all pretty exhausting really. So I am enjoying having some space and time to think again.
It is so refreshing to get out and about and we have been having some lovely school holiday days... Now all we need is for some slightly warmer, perhaps even spring like weather.
We enjoyed a lovely children free night over the D'entrecasteaux Channel to Bruny Island. The stillness was so strange...the views were glorious and I always love exploring new places.
The best thing about moving to a new place is that it gives you the opportunity to go to places yet undiscovered and it takes you out of your comfort zone and broadens your horizons...
So bring on more school holiday freedom. With much thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for having 3 small children for an extended sleep over. RG x.
